Hold to turn the device on and off, enter night vision mode, and enter watch mode.
Select to turn the backlight on and off.
POWER
Select to scroll through the main pages in sequence.
Select to go back to the previous view from a menu or option.
PAGE
Hold to navigate to a waypoint.
GOTO
Select to open the menu for the page.
ENTER
Hold to mark a waypoint.
MARK
Select to scroll through menus and pages.
Select to zoom out or zoom in on the map page.

Turning On the Device

Hold POWER.
The first time you turn on the device, you will select the device language.

Acquiring Satellite Signals

Before you can use GPS navigation features, you must acquire satellite signals.
When you turn on your navigation device, the GPS receiver must collect satellite data and establish the current
location. The time required to acquire satellite signals varies based on several factors, including how far you are
from the location where you last used your navigation device, whether you have a clear view of the sky, and how
long it has been since you last used your navigation device. The first time you turn on your navigation device, it
may take several minutes to acquire satellite signals.
1 Turn on the device.
2 Wait while the device locates satellites.
It may take 30 to 60 seconds to acquire satellite signals.
3 If necessary, go to an open area, away from tall buildings and trees.

Using the Backlight

1 Select POWER.
The backlight turns on for 30 seconds.
2 Select POWER to turn off the backlight.
Introduction
