Normal use 2 Normal use 2.1 Intended use The clamping jaws 28272 PSG, PSK, and PSF are used to fix a telescope, fiberscope, or instruments to a holding system. 2.2 Indications ® The clamping jaws are used to fix flexible and rigid endoscopes and VITOM systems to the POINT SETTER holding system during microsurgical or open procedures. -

Preparation 5 Preparation 5.1 Unpacking the product Carefully remove the product and accessories from the packaging. Check the delivery for missing items and evidence of shipping damage. In the case of damage, hidden defects, and short deliveries, document their nature and extent and contact the manufacturer or supplier immediately. - Page 11 Preparation Open the clamping jaw by pressing on the unlock buttons. Insert the VITOM 3D exoscope into the clamping jaw. ð The sheath groove and the bar on the clamping jaw are interlocking. Close the clamping jaw. Make sure that the clamping jaw is securely locked in place. This is the case when both unlock buttons are fully visible.

Disassembly 6 Disassembly 6.1 Disassembling clamping jaws 28272PSG and 28272PSK Hold onto the telescope in order to prevent it from falling down. Turn the rotary knob to open the clamping jaws. Remove the instrument or the telescope. Close the clamping jaw. -
