TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BURNS, FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR INJURY TO PERSONS:

  • DO NOT touch the power plug with wet hands.
  • Turn off the power before cleaning the unit.
  • DO NOT use the air purifier in rooms where fumigation or pesticide is being used.
  • Keep the unit dry.
  • DO NOT use air purifier in a room where it is being cooked with oils and grease that may clog the filters.
  • Use ONLY a soft clean cloth. DO NOT use solvents like Benzene, Alcohol or any flammable cleaners to clean the air purifier.
  • This is a 220-240V unit. It is NOT made for 11OV use. Plugging it into a 11OV outlet will damage the motor and circuits and the unit will no work any longer. Use only with a 220-240V outlet.
  • Turn off the power immediately in case of any of the following:
    • Malfunction of any switch
    • Circuit failure
    • Abnormal heating of wires or plugs
    • Any other malfunction

BEFORE USE

DISASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION METHODS OF SIDE COVERS

  1. Press down on the handles on the sides to remove the side covers. After they open, lift the cover out from the bottom fixed grooves.

  2. To reinstall the side covers, align the fixed slots and insert the covers into the slots. The covers will automatically snap back into place.

INSTALLING THE AIR PURIFIER

Do not obstruct the air intake or the clean air outlet.
To ensure enough ventilation, make sure there is a 20 inch (or 50 cm) distance between the air inlet and the wall or nearby furniture.

INSTALLING THE FILTER SET

All filters must be used together. Please remove the filters according to the following instructions. Reinstall the filters accordingly.

  1. Place the machine in a dry location and on a smooth and flat surface.

  2. Press down on the handles on the sides to remove the side covers. Once they are open, lift the cover out from the bottom fixed grooves.

  3. Do not disassemble the filters. Filters sets come in one piece for maximum efficiency.

  4. Remove any exterior packaging of the filter sets. Place the filters back in the air purifiers once the packaging has been removed.
  5. To reinstall the side covers, align the fixed slots and insert the covers into the slots. The covers will automatically snap back into place.

HOW TO USE

BEFORE USE

  • After plugging it in, the air purifier will beep. Indicator lights will flash 1 time. Then, they will turn off.

POWER BUTTON

  • Press the ON/OFF button. The unit will start on speed 1 and the indicator light will be on.
  • Press the ON/OFF button again to turn off the unit.

FAN SPEED SETTINGS

  • Press the SPEED button to choose your prefered air speed: 1, 2, 3 or 4. In AUTO mode, the unit will choose the fan speed based on the air quality.

SLEEP MODE

  • Press the sleep button to enter into sleep mode, then all other indicator lights will turn off. The fan speed and noise level will change to the lowest setting.
  • After 10 seconds, the sleep indicator light goes out as well.
  • Press any key to exit sleep mode.

TIMER

Press the timer button and choose your preferred hour options: 1, 2, 4, 8 or no timer.

IONIZER MODE

Press the Ionizer button. The unit will beep and the indicator light of the Ionizer will be on. Press the Ionizer button again and the unit will leave the Ionizer mode. The indicator light for the Ionizer will be off. When the filter replacement indicator is on, the user needs to replace the filter and press the Ionizer button for 3 seconds to reset it. Then, the fan speed indicator light will stop flashing.

CHILD-LOCK BUTTON

In this mode, none of the function keys can be used or changed (except the child lock function). To turn on the child lock, hold the button down for 3 to 5 seconds. To turn off the child lock function, hold the button down for 30 to 45 seconds.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Please make sure to pull out the power plug before cleaning the unit. Do not put the unit in water or in any other liquid. Do not use abrasive, corrosive or flammable products to clean any parts of the unit. The unit uses composite filters, so filters cannot be washed.

CLEANING THE AIR PURIFIER

Clean the air purifier regularly to prevent dust accumulation. Use a soft and dry cloth to remove dust from the air purifier.

CLEANING THE AIR QUALITY SENSOR

Clean the air quality sensor every two months to ensure the best performance. Clean it often if the machine works in a dusty environment.

  1. Use a soft brush or cloth, to clean the intake and outlet of the air quality sensor.

  2. Disassemble the cover of the air quality sensor.

  3. Use a dry swab to clean the air quality sensor, air intake and air outlet. Use a hair dryer to blow out the sensor area or use a vacuum cleaner. Either works well to clean the sensor.
  4. Reinstall the cover of air quality sensor.

ATTENTION
warningThe air quality sensor may accumulate condensation. If this happens, the air quality sensor, even if in a ventilated room, may show poor air quality. Please make sure the air quality sensor is clean and dry to perform properly.

FILTER REPLACEMENT

LIGHT INDICATOR TO REPLACE THE FILTER

The indicator light will remind users when it is time to change your filter.

  1. Remove all existing filters from the unit. Remove all packaging from new filter sets. Then, install the new filters into the unit in the same order as existing filters.

  2. Install new filter sets in the unit. Reinstall side covers, as outlined earlier. Side covers will snap back in automatically.

  3. When filter replacement is complete, plug in unit and turn on. Press the Ionizer button for 3 seconds to reset the unit.

ATTENTION
warningTurn off and pull out power plug before replacing the filters. If replacement filter indicator light flashes again after replacement, press the reset button at the side (as shown) until indicator light resets itself.

LIFETIME WARRANTY

Medify guarantees your Medify Air Purifier to be free of defects in material or workmanship for a lifetime period, provided you have completed and returned your warranty registration to Medify Air within the first 30 days of purchase, and that the filters are replaced with original and genuine Medify Air replacement filters at least once every six (6) months of after 3,000 hours of use. The filter replacement indicator will let you know when it is time to replace it. Medify Air will replace the defective unit at no charge to you and reimburse you for any shipping charges. After 30 days, Medify Air's obligation and"liability under this Lifetime Warranty is dependent on your use of our genuine filters, purchased on our website or from our authorized resellers, which can be found on our website.

Our Lifetime Warranty remains in effect as long as:

  1. You submit your warranty registration to Medify Air within 30 days of purchase.
  2. You change the filters with genuine and original Medify Air replacement filters at least once every six (6) months or after 3,000 hours of use (whichever comes first).
  3. You use a proper power supply based on voltage: 120 V.
  4. There is no evidence of tampering, mishandling, neglect, accidental damage, modification, and/or repair done to the Medify Air Purifier by anyone other than authorized Medify Air service personnel.
  5. Your air purifier is operated in accordance with the provided instructions.
