IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

IN ORDER TO AVOID ANY DAMAGE TO YOU, OTHERS OR PROPERTY, FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
IF THE POWER CORD OR UNIT DOES NOT WORK, CONTACT MEDIFY CUSTOMER SERVICE IMMEDIATELY.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.

TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BURNS, FIRE, ELECTRICAL SHOCK, OR INJURY TO PERSONS

• DO NOT touch the power plug with wet hands. Wet hands can cause an electrical shock. Never touch with wet hands.
• Turn off the power before cleaning the unit. Unplug before cleaning to avoid an electrical shock or unit turning on accidentally.
• DO NOT take apart or modify a unit without authorization. Taking apart or modifying without authorization may cause personal injury or unit malfunction.
• DO NOT put bars or metal products nearby air outlet or openings. If metal bars touch inside of machine, it can cause an electrical shock.
• DO NOT damage power line and socket. Do not bind wires when you use the unit. It may cause an electrical shock, short circuit, or a fire if you use broken wires. Forbidden to cut, scratch refit, distort, twist or pull power lines. Do not put any heavy products on top of wires or sockets.
• Regularly clean power plug. Do not allow dust to accumulate on the power plug. This can damage insulation and cause an accidental fire. Pull out the power plug and clean with a dry cloth (do not use wet cloth). If machine is not planned to be used for any extended period of time, unplug it for safety reasons.
• Prohibited use beyond power. Can only use a 220v unit with a 220v power supply. Can only use a 110v unit with a 110v power supply. You can break or ruin the circuit boards if you plug into a 220v power supply.
• Please insert the plug completely into the power socket before starting the air purifier. If not, may cause an electrical shock and overheating, or even an accidental fire. Do not use a damaged plug or loose socket.
• 
  To reduce the risk of a fire or an electrical shock, do not use this air purifier with any solid state speed control device.
• 
  Unplug or disconnect this air purifier from the power supply before servicing.
• 
  This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider, intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defect this safety feature.
• Keep machine dry or else it may cause an electrical shock or an accidental fire.
• Keep machine away from volatile substances or flammable items. This could cause a fire.
• Do not use an air purifier in a greasy area. This machine should not be used as ventilating or air evacuating equipment.
• Do not use air purifier in high temperature or humid conditions. These situations may cause current damage, an electrical shock or an accidental fire.

• Do not use the air purifier in the room with fumigation type pesticides. Chemical residue could be accumulated inside the machine and then released causing harm. The room should keep ventilated thoroughly after you use insecticide and then start to use air purifier.
• If you use the air purifier in a room with an electric heater, ensure proper ventilation. Otherwise, there could be a buildup of carbon monoxide, which can cause serious harm or death. The air purifier will NOT remove carbon monoxide from the air.
• Do not use solvents like benzene, diluent, etc. to clean the air purifier. This can cause the air purifier to break, to become damaged, or short circuit, which can lead to an electrical shock or an accidental fire.
• Be careful when removing the plug from the power socket. Do not pull wires which may cause short circuit or damage to wires, to avoid any possible accidental fires or electrical shocks.
• BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REMOVE THE PLASTIC COVERING FROM ALL FILTERS.
• Turn off the power immediately in case of any of the following:
  • Malfunction of any switch
  • Circuit failure
  • Abnormal heating of wires or plugs
  • Any other malfunction

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid any type of hazard. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should never play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance of the unit shall not be made by children without supervision. Prior to cleaning or doing any type of maintenance, the appliance must be disconnected from the power supply.

• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the air purifier.
• Do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on any soft surface, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• Use this air purifier only for its intended use as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• DO NOT use outdoors.

UNIQUE FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS

GENUINE MEDIFY TRUE HEPA H13 FILTRATION SYSTEM

• TRUE HEPA H13 FILTRATION
  Removes up to 99.9% of airborne particles as small as 0.1 microns, such as allergens, pollen, dust, pet dander, odor, and smoke from air that passes through the filter.
• CARBON ODOR FILTRATION
  Reduces odors and VOCs (volatile organic compounds)/gases, as shown by independent laboratory testing.
• PRE-FILTER
  Captures large particles.

3 SPEEDS
Low, medium, and high speeds.

BUILT-IN TIMER
Choose from 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours.

REPLACE FILTER INDICATOR
Illuminates when it is time to replace the filter.

SUGGESTED ROOM SIZE
Up to 165 sf every 15 min and up to 330 sf every 30 min. Portable air purifiers will be more effective in rooms where all the doors and windows are closed.

AIR CHANGES PER HOUR
This air purifier will purify the air up to 165 sf every 15 min and up to 330 sf every 30 min (assuming an 8 FT/2.43 M ceiling)one time per hour on high speed in a closed room.

HOW TO USE

BEFORE TURNING THE UNIT ON

• Take the air purifier out of the box and remove the clear protective plastic bag.
• Place the air purifier on a firm, level surface.
• Plug the power cord into a standard AC outlet.

POWER BUTTON AND FAN SPEED SETTINGS

• To turn the air purifier on, press the power button.
• This air purifier has 3 fan speed settings: low (1), medium (2), and high (3). The higher the fan speed setting, the faster the air will be purified. To select or change fan speed, press the fan speed button until the desired setting is reached.

TIMER

Press the timer button until the desired timer setting is lit on the display. The timer button will cycle through the following settings: 1 hours, 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours and off. To cancel the timer at any time, press the timer button until all timer LEDs are off. The air purifier will run continuously when the timer function is off.

UV MODE

Press the UV button to turn on the UV light. Press it again to turn the UV light off.

CHILD-LOCK BUTTON

Press the child-lock button and hold for 3 seconds, all functional buttons will be locked. Press and hold again the child-lock button for 3 seconds, all functional buttons will be unlocked.

Wi-Fi CONTROL

• Press "CHILD-LOCK" + "SPEED" and hold for 3S to enter the mode of scanning QR code for network configuration. After turn on the Wi-Fi icon turns red and flashes quickly, and turns green after successful connection.

• Press "ON/OFF"+"UV" button for 3S to enter the network configuration mode without scanning QR code. After turn on the WIFI icon turns green and flashes quickly. After successful connection, WIFI icon turns green.

WIFI CONNECTION (Alexa APP)

User can configure Air purifier through Alexa app. Search "Amazon Alexa" in App Store or Google Play Store to install.

SET UP AIR PURIFIER WITH Alexa APP

1. Open the Alexa App.
2. Type in your Amazon account and password. Click "SIGN IN."
3. Select the Device button at the bottom.
4. Tap "+" in the upper right corner to add a device.
5. Select "Air Purifier"
6. Choose "Medify Air"
7. Ensure that Bluetooth, Camera, and Location of the mobile device are enabled
8. the next page will jump out of two network configuration mode, one is to scan the QR code network, one is not to scan the QR code network.
   
   

9. If scanning QR code is selected for network configuration, please follow the following steps.

• Long press child-lock + SPEED button of the purifier for 3S. After hearing a "drip" sound, restart the machine and enter the mode of scanning QR code for network configuration, and the Wi-Fi icon will turn into a red light flashing.
• Scan the QR code icon behind the machine or on the color box.
• Select the Wi-Fi network to connect to and enter the Wi-Fi password.
• Wi-Fi is configured successfully.
  
  

10. If you choose not to scan the QR code for network configuration, please follow the following steps.

• Long press ON/OFF+UV key 3S, hear the sound of "drip", restart after entering the non-scanning QR code network mode, Wi-Fi icon will turn green flashing.
• Select the Wi-Fi network to connect to and enter the Wi-Fi password
• Wi-Fi is configured successfully.
  
  

11. After the WIFI configuration of the purifier is successful

• Enter the device interface of APP
• Select the air purifier device that has been added.
• Enter the APP control interface of the air purifier, and the air purifier can be controlled through the mobile APP.
  

HOW TO CONFIGURE NOTIFICATION AND SMART REORDER SETTINGS

Smart Reorder helps track your filter purchases from Amazon.com, so that the device can notify you or re-order filter for you when your inventory runs low. To use smart reorder, please complete the following:

• Enter the air purifier APP control page
• Select the "Settings" button in the upper right
• Select the "Supply" section
• Select "When my supplies are running low" and you will have the following options:
  1. Smart reorder: Automatically place an order for a new filter when your purifier filter life reaches less than 10%.
  2. Just notify me: Get notified when your purifier filter life reaches less than 10%.
  3. Do not reorder or notify: Nothing will happen when your purifier filter life reaches less than 10%.
     

CONTROL USING VOICE COMMANDS

Now you can control your smart devices through Echo. You can use commands such as:

• Alexa, turn on/off air purifier.
• Alexa, set air purifier to 1. [Will turn unit to speed 1]
• Alexa, set air purifier to 2. [Will turn unit to speed 2]

FILTER REPLACEMENT

REPLACE FILTER LIGHT

The UV mode light will turn solid red when it is time to replace the True HEPA 13 filter.

REPLACING THE TRUE HEPA H13 FILTER

For optimal performance, replace every 2500 hours under normal usage conditions. Once the filter has been replaced, press and hold the Timer+UV b utton for 3 seconds to reset the indicator.

1. Unplug the air purifier. Open the filter grille covers on the left and right of the unit by pushing the lockers on the top of the covers.
   
2. Take away the grilles from the unit.
   

To purchase genuine Medify replacement True HEPA H13 filters, model MA-15, go back to your retailer where you purhased your air purifier, or visit www.medifyair.com.

3. Pull the tabs to remove the old filter.
   

4. Install a new genuine Medify replacement filter with the white side facing out (tabs will be visible).
   

5. Align the tabs at the bottom of the grille overs with the unit. Gently push the grille covers until they snap back into place.
   

6. Plug the power cord into a standard AC outlet. Press and hold the Timer+UV button for 3 seconds to reset the indicator.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

CLEANING THE PRE-FILTER

NOTE: For best performance, vacuum the pre-filter once a month under normal usage.

1. Unplug the air purifier.
2. Remove the True HEPA H13 filter as described in the Replacing the True HEPA H13 Filter section.
3. Vacuum the white side of the True HEPA H13 filter using the brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner, cleaning it thoroughly.
4. Place the True HEPA H13 filter back into the air purifier and close grille.
5. Plug the power cord into a standard AC outlet.

FOR BEST PERFORMANCE:

• NEVER use water or any cleaners or detergents to clean the True HEPA H13 filter.
• Clean off the outside of the unit with a dry cloth as needed.
• NEVER use water, wax, polish, or any chemical solution to clean the outside of the unit.
• Clean off the grille cover using a damp cloth or the brush attachment of your vacuum as needed.
• Vacuum the pre-filter monthly under normal usage conditions.
• Replace the True HEPA H13 filter every 2500 hours under normal usage conditions.
• Always use a genuine Medify replacement filter for optimal performance.

TROUBLESHOOTING

LONG-TIME IDLING
Do not leave unit plugged in for an extended period of time when not in use. Place machine in a dry and well ventilated place when not in use for any extended period of time.
