1. Tightness of connections through hull:

4. Check of fuel system:

4.3 fuel filter

5. Check of remote control cables:
5.1 cables
6. Check of propeller shaft arrangement:
6.1 rear stern tube bearing
sufficient water flow to rear stern tube bearing

6.3 alignment of gear flange and prop.shaft flange
6.4 stuffing box seals
6.5 condition of rubber tube for stuffing box
6.6 Out-Board gearoil.

7. Starting of the engine:

9. Running with engine - check:
9.1 Idling speed to be 900-1200 RPM
9.2 Full speed unload / min. 3700 RPM
9.3 Full speed loaded with propeller
9.4 Cooling water temp. to be max. 75 degr. Celcius
9.5 Audible and visual alarms
9.6 Lubricating oil pressure
Gearbox change from FW to Neutral to ASTERN
