OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS ITEM # DESCRIPTION Tilting Handle - Used for tilting the kettle. Vacuum/Pressure Gauge - Indicate steam pressure in PSI inside steam jacket as well as vacuum in inches of mercury. Pressure Relief Valve (not shown) - This valve is used to vent the kettle and in the unlikely event there is an excess steam build-up in the jacket, this valve opens automatically to relieve this pressure. - Page 8 OPERATING Pour the contents of the kettle into an appropriate container by tilting the kettle THE KETTLE forward.
