    Final preparation for use Turn on the VCR and the TV, and select the VCR channel 3 or 4 (or AV mode) on the TV. You can now perform basic playback or basic recording.

    Initial Settings Language Setting The default setting is “ENGLISH”. Turn on the VCR and TV, and select the VCR channel (or AV mode). Set the VCR/TV/CABLE/DBS selector on the Remote to “VCR”. Access Main Menu screen, then Initial Set screen Press MENU on the Remote.

    Locating beginning of timer recordings — Instant Review After ensuring that the VCR is turned off and that the timer mode is disengaged, press REVIEW. The VCR turns on, and rewinds to the index code indicating the beginning of the last timer-recorded program, then begins playback automatically.

    Remote can perform some of the remote control functions of the listed TVs, cable boxes and DBS (Direct Broadcast Satellite) receivers. You can control a JVC TV without setting a brand code. NOTES: ● Some unit’s brands have more than one code listed. If after setting, the remote does not operate the unit, try one of the other listed codes.

    When using VIDEO IN connector on the rear panel, set “REAR AUX INPUT” to “VIDEO”. Set “PICTURE CONTROL” to “EDIT” ( If your JVC camcorder is equipped with a Master Edit Control, set “AV COMPU-LINK” to “OFF” ( AV COMPULINK connector works as a Remote Pause connector.
