TROUBLESHOOTING
IF THE TELEPHONE DOESN'T WORK
If the telephone doesn't work, first read this user manual.
Check that the line cord is inserted into the telephone socket correctly.
If the line cord is OK, take the telephone to another line connection (next door) and try
again. If it works, then your incoming line is faulty. Call your Network operator.
Ensure that the handset is correctly inserted in the socket. Make sure that the switches on
the side of the telephone are on the correct settings.
NO CALLER INFORMATION
If the Caller Display doesn't work, check first that you have subscribed to the service and
it is enabled by your Network operator.
Check that the telephone batteries are installed properly, observing the correct polarity.

FAULT FINDING

NO SOUND IN THE HANDSET:
P Check that the handset cord is correctly fitted.
P Check that the line cord is correctly fitted.
P Check (using another phone) that the line is working.
NO SOUND IN LOUDSPEAKER OR HEADSET:
P Check that the switch settings on the right hand side of the telephone are in the
correct positions.
NO CALLER DISPLAY NUMBER INFORMATION:
P Check that the Caller Display service is enabled on your telephone line and your
subscription is current.
P If "OUT OF RANGE" or "PROTECT" shows in the display, the Caller Display
information is not available.
P Caller Display won't operate if the call originates from a PBX extension.
