CHARGING SYSTEM
Check the following before troubleshooting:
- Faulty battery
- Loose terminal connectors.
3 A charge coil type:
Check the main fuse (5 A)(P. 5-7)

Check the charge/lamp coil

Check the following:
-Circuit protector (P. 5-9)
-Silicon rectifier (P. 5-9)
-Regulator/rectifier (P. 5-10)
Normal
Check the harness connecting the
charge coil for an open or short circuit,
and for proper connection. If necessary,
replace the harness.
