Making a Call

1. Remove the Handset from the Base Unit.
2. Press Talk.
3. Do one of the following:
If you are making an:
outside call
intercom call
4. When you finish the call, place the Handset back on the
Base Unit to terminate the connection,
or,
If the Handset is away from the Base Unit, press Talk to
terminate the call.
Chapter 4 Using Your DCKT970 Handset
Then:
Press a floating outside
line group key (F1-F4) or
dial a trunk access code.
Wait for outside dial tone
then dial the desired
telephone number.
Dial the desired extension
number.
