Instead, it must be treated with extra care and handling.
It requires a Type PG I shipping container which is
a liquid tight, sealed metal drum (Figure 9). Contact
TORO Service for the proper steps to take to obtain
the steel drum. If using the steel drum proceed to
5 PG I (Steel Drum) Packing (page 4).
3. If the pack is severely damaged, please contact
your TORO distributor or Toro Techincal Service
Representative for shipping and packaging instructions.
In some instances it may be preferable to not have the
battery returned at all.

PG II (Cardboard Shipping
Container) Packing
No Parts Required
Procedure
1. Open the shipping box and set aside the following
items: Hazardous Class 9/UN3480 decal, the Cargo
Aircraft Only decal, the To/From shipping sticker (pre
printed with the ship to address), the roll of HP400
tape, and the upper (small) foam inserts.
2. Adjust the lower (large) inserts into the box as shown
in Figure 2.

3. Turn the battery pack upside down, and place into the
shipping box (Figure 3).
4. Place the small foam inserts to the outside of either
end of the pack (Figure 4).
