ADJUSTING THE
HANDSET'S VOLUME
Roll the handset's volume control up-
ward to increase the volume you hear
through the handset, or downward to de-
crease the volume.

USING REDIAL

You can quickly dial the last number di-
aled. When you hear a dial tone, simply
lift the handset and press
If the number you dial is busy, you can
leave the handset off the hook and
press
REDIAL
to have the phone send a
hang-up signal and automatically redial
the number again.
Note: The redial memory holds up to 31
digits in the tone mode and 32 digits in

the pulse mode, so it can store long-
distance as well as local numbers.
USING TONE SERVICES
ON A PULSE LINE
Some special services, such as bank-
by-phone, require tone signals. If you
have pulse service, you can still use
these special services by following
