PRESENTATION
Dear Customer,
We would first of all like
to thank you
for choosing an ECOWOOD product.
Our ECOWOOD stoves and inserts are the result of ex-
perience and technical innovation acquired after years of
work in the energy sector.
Our research and innovation activities are aimed at con-
tinual improvement of the product in order to offer the
best in terms of safety, reliability, performance, conven-
ience, comfort and design.
Please read this handbook carefully and follow the instruc-
tions and advice meticulously. This will guarantee optimal
use of the product and exploit its advantages to the full.
You have bought a stove that has been designed to be safe,
practical and economically advantageous in terms of the
high efficiency it is able to achieve.
Nevertheless, it is important to be well acquainted with the apparatus if it is to be operat-
ed as efficiently as possible and in complete safety.
It is fundamentally important, for proper operation and safety reasons, for the apparatus to
be installed correctly.
The most important safety rule to be followed is that the apparatus should never be used
by people who do not know how to work it, therefore it is particularly important to keep
children and animals away from it, also to protect them from the risk of burns and scalds
when the stove is in operation.
This handbook has been written by the manufacturer and is an integral part of the
product. The information it contains is intended for the user and for all those who for var-
ious reasons contribute to the installation, use and maintenance of the product.
Before commencing installation or using the stove, read the whole of this user's and in-
stallation handbook carefully and then keep it in a safe place for the whole working life
of the stove.
In the following pages you will find all the instructions you need for installation, opera-
tion and maintenance, as well as a number of safety rules to be followed.
If you have any doubts or uncertainties on how to use the equipment, please get in touch
with the point of sale where you bought the stove. The retailer will be able to supply you
with all the necessary information.

This stove operates only and exclusively with pel-
lets (pressed wood sawdust). Top quality pellets
without impurities should be used.
In order to obtain a constant flame with a pleas-
ing appearance it is important to use 6 mm di-
ameter pellets that are about 20 mm long, and as
regular as possible.
The stove needs a flue gas exhaust pipe of 60 mm
diameter and a combustion air inlet pipe of 40
mm diameter. The stove is supplied with an
adapter to increase the exhaust gas flue from 60 mm to 80 mm.This accessory can be used
with the flue pipes for pellet stoves that are generally available on the market.
Where possible, we recommend installing a T-pipe for inspection at the stove exhaust gas
outlet, in order to recover the burnt microdust, and also a steel pipe two metres high, to
be connected to the existing flue in order to discharge the flue gas.
This device will prevent smoke formation inside the rooms should there be a power failure
for any reason during stove operation.
If it is necessary to move the stove temporarily
to a position up to 3 metres from the wall, with
Trolley it is possible to use a flexible pipe special-
ly made by ECOWOOD for this purpose (op-
tional equipment).
This makes it possible to move the stove and at
the same time guarantee safety and ease of use.
At least once a week
the user should in any
case clean out
f r o m
combustion
that is deposit-
ed inside the
flexible pipe.
