the rated current. If the three-phase a.c. Is not balance, the ratio of the lowest one-phase current and the highest
one-phase current should not be over 5%, meanwhile, if voltage drop exists, the voltage drop should not be 5%
lower than the rated voltage.
g. The air compressor must have a ground wire connected to the floor to prevent the dangers caused by electricity
leakage.
(Notice) Air compressor electric installation and commissioning workers must have the electrician
operating certification.
Chapter Five
One． ． ． ． Test run, machine start and stop.
a. Connect the power line and ground line to examine whether the main power source and three-phase source
is correct.
b. Check whether the oil level in oil tank is between the upper oil level and lower oil level.
c. If the test run is after a long-time delivery, about 0.5 L lubricating oil should be added from the air inlet valve,
and rotate the air compressor for several revolutions by hands to prevent the compressor from burning down for
loosing oil when starts up. Please pay special attention not to drop foreign matters into the compressor to avoid
damaging it.
d. Check the cooling system.
e. Within several seconds after operating by pressing the "ON" button, please immediately press the button
"urgent stop" to check whether the rotating direction is right ( like the direction of arrow), if the rotating direction is
wrong, please exchange any two lines among the tree power lines.
f. Press again the button" ON" to start the air compressor.
g. Observe whether the meter and indicating lamp is normal, if appearing abnormal sounds, vibration and oil
leaking, immediately press the button" urgent stop" to stop the machine and check it.
h. Note whether any indicating lamp has abnormal indication.
i. The exhaust temperature should be kept between 75℃ and 85℃.
j. After pressing the button "OFF" and 10-15seconds, time reply acts, so that the motor will stop, which can
prevent the air compressor from direct stopping with heavy load.
k. After pressing the button "OFF", the discharge valve will exhaust automatically.
Two. Examination before starting.
Examination before starting is the necessary work to avoid the compressor severe failures and improve the
usage benefit.
a. Manual open the water discharge valve of the oil tank and water separator and remove the condensate water
produced when the machine stops. If ignoring the work, the service life of lubricating oil will shorten and be easy to
damage the bearings.
b. Check whether the oil level is between the upper oil level and lower oil level, and the lubricating oil should be too
much and too little, if not enough, please add some. Using lubricating oil of different brands is forbidden, and open
the oil filler cap to add lubricating oil after confirming that there is no pressure in the system.
