A. Protection on the motor
Air compressor protects the motor against short circuit、 、 、 、 rotor blocked、overload、phase lacking and imbalance.
As for the overloading protection of the motor, the air compressor has two main motors in its system, which is
one of air compressor driven main motor and the other is cooling circulating fan motor. In normal condition, the
motor operating electric current is not more than 3% of the rated current,( for example, because of factors, such
as voltage drop, trip phase imbalance and so on). When the motor operating current exceeds the set upper limit
current of electricity protecting device, the over-current protection device will automatic cut off its main power
supply, during which time, the air compressor stops and will not restart if not reset. The reset mode is to push
the set switch by hand.
Reasons for ordinary motors overload.
a. Artificial operation mistakes, such as voluntary adjusting discharge pressure, improper system adjustment
and so on.
b. Machinery failures
Such as inner consumption of motors, motor phase lacking operation, inaction of safe valve, system set
failure, oil gas separator blocking and so on.
Please stop the machine when find the motor overload during its operation and contact our company, and
so we will dispatch our service team to repair it, or it will not worth if the motor burned out.
