6.1 How to Program the DLPC3479?

First of all, it is recommended that you use the GUI software to familiarize
yourself with the operations of the controller. Then you can go to the "Debug" tab or
enter GUI advanced mode to learn more about the corresponding I2C commands
generated in GUI operations. Finally refer to the programmer's guide of the controller
to understand the meaning of each I2C command.

6.2 What is a 1D pattern?

A 1D pattern refers to a pattern that can be completely described using
1-dimensional information. In other words, a horizontal 1D pattern is an image with
repeated columns, and a vertical 1D pattern is an image with repeated rows.

6.3 Why would you want to use a 1D pattern?

1D patterns are very useful for a variety of reasons. First, a lot of time-encoded
structured light uses 1D patterns (such as grayscale encoding and phase-shift patterns).
Second, a 1D pattern can be completely represented by a 1 by x image (x can be a row
or a column), which means that all the information of the pattern can be obtained
without saving all the data of the pattern to the flash memory. It is because of this that
the DLPC347x controller can quickly project a very large number of different
patterns.
