1. Engage FULL WHEEL BRAKES
2. CHECK all instruments and gauges
3. Move throttle to FULL MILITARY thrust
4. CHECK engine values
5. Release WHEEL BRAKES
6. Ignite AFTERBURNERS if needed (throttle fully forw.)
7. At ~130KIAS (depending on weight) pull the nose up gently
FLY THE FA-18F
TAKEOFF
1. After takeoff raise the landing GEAR immediately
2. Retract FALPS if extended
2. Lower thrust to FULL MILITARY (no afterburners)
3. Maintain reasonable PITCH AND SPEED
4. TURN slightly to free space for the following aircraft
