UFCD – COM Menu
COM MENU:
The COM menu allows you to quickly change the active frequency and to store
six additional frequencies (per COM) for later use.
Change active frequency with value input:
If you want to set a certain COM frequency that is not already saved in the FQ
frequency data slots:
If the COM1 button is not already backlit green, and therefore active:
1. Click the COM1 button (or COM2 if inside the COM2 menu)
2. Input the frequency on the numeric touch keyboard
3. Hit ENTER
The frequency becomes active immediately on this COM.
Make sure that this COM is active by checking that there is the green square on
it's top left corner. If there is no green square there, the other COM is currently
active. Just click the COM button again and it becomes the active one.
Change active frequency with saved frequencies:
You can save 6 frequencies in storage slots on every COM. To use one of them:
1. click on the appropriate storage slot button (example FQ4)
2. click the SET button
Now the frequency that was in the storage slot swapped it's position with the
frequency that was active. Therefore the former stored frequency is now active
and the former active frequency is now stored.
SAVE/Store a frequency:
To safe/store a certain frequency in one of the 6 slots first
1. click on the appropriate slot.
2. input the frequency on the numeric touch keyboard and hit ENT.
Cycle through frequencies:
Another handy way to change the active frequency, is by cycling through all
stored frequencies for a COM with the appropriate knob.
With the COMM1 and COMM2 knob, one after the other frequency is set active,
even when you are not in the COM menu.
