4. Remove the sponge material
from the air filter element frame.

5. Clean the sponge material with
solvent, and then squeeze the
remaining solvent out.
6. Apply oil of the recommended
type to the entire surface of the
sponge material,
squeeze the excess oil out.
NOTE:
The sponge material should be wet
but not dripping.
Recommended oil:
Engine oil

Install the air filter element so that the
gray side is facing forward and with
the "UP" mark pointing as shown.

7. Install the sponge material onto
the air filter element frame, and
then insert the air filter element
into the air filter case.
