GAUGE WHEELS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Left hand gauge wheel installation shown. Install right hand gauge wheel on other side of ripper the same way.
1. Install the gauge wheel mount between the two outside shanks facing forward. Attach to the rear frame tube
using four 3/4" x 7-3/4" U-Bolts, four 3/4" lockwashers and four 3/4" nuts, attach the mount. See Illustration 2.
2. Install the gauge wheel tube and pin the tube in place. Place one 3/8" x 1-3/4" bolt and locknut in end of the
pin without the chamfer and the klick pin in the end with the chamfer. After the tube is pinned, bolt the jack in
place. Raise or lower the jack accordingly to line up bolt holes. Place one 3/8" x 2" bolt and locknut in top bracket
of the jack and one 3/8" x 3-1/4" bolt and locknut in the bottom bracket. Now the tube is secure. Install hub and
spindle using 3/8" x 3-1/4" bolt and locknut. Install bolt so the threaded end is pointing toward mount to material
build up on protruding bolt. See Illustration 3.
3. Install the mounted tire assembly.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 on the other side of the unit.
