INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Connect the PC using the RS232C (D-sub 9pin) cross
cable.

First turn on the power to the main unit, start up the DPX-
1000 service utility software through the PC and issue
the DVI monitor check on command.
* Note that this command cannot be used in such an error
situation that the power fails when it is turned on.
<Procedure to enter the DVI monitor check mode>
1: Issue the DVI monitor check on command.
2: Turn off the power to the main unit.

With the upper cover removed, remove OP1, 2 and 3
P.C.B.s from the upper cover and connect them as shown
in the figure. Also, disconnect the connection cables be-
tween FMT P.C.B and CSP P.C.B. as shown in the figure
and connect the jig (DVI-TX P.C.B.) using the cable for
the jig prepared separately. Also, connect to the monitor
by using the DVI cable.

Turn on the power to the main unit again and using the
image input and test pattern, determine whether the faulty
part is in the front end section or in and after the FMT
P.C.B.

Exit the DVI monitor check mode.
<Procedure to exit the DVI monitor check mode>
1: Issue the DVI monitor check off command.
2: Turn off the power to the main unit and then turn it on
again.
Caution)
After the inspection is over, make sure to exit the check
mode, or the normal operation will not be recovered.

検査手順:

PCをRS232C(D-sub 9pin)クロスケーブルにて接続しま
す。

まず、本体に電源投入し、PC より DPX-1000 サービス
ユーティリティーソフトを立ち上げ、DVI モニター
チェックコマンドを発行します。
★ このコマンドは、 電源投入時に電源が落ちる不良時には
使用できませんので注意してください。
＜ DVI モニターチェックモードに入る手順＞
1: DVI monitor check on コマンド発行
2: 本体電源 OFF

アッパーカバーを外し、 アッパーカバーよりOP1,2,3基
板を取り外し、図のように接続します。また、FMT 基
板とCSP基板間の接続ケーブルを図のように取り外し、
用意した治具用ケーブルに取り替え治具（DVI̲TX 基
板）と接続します。モニターにも DVI ケーブルにて接
続します。

本体に再度電源投入し、映像入力及びテストパターン
にて不良個所等がフロントエンド部なのか、FMT 基板
以降なのか切り分けを行ないます。

DVI モニターチェックモードから抜けます。
＜ DVI モニターチェックモードから抜ける手順＞
1: DVI monitor check off コマンド発行
2: 本体電源 OFF 後再び電源 ON
注意）
検査終了後、 チェックモードから抜ける手続きを必ず行な
わないと正常な動作に戻れません。
