h. Disconnect the cable (50P) from the connector CB906.

* Never touch the DMD surface and around it.
＊ DMDの表面およびその周辺は、絶対に触れないようにして

6-2 Installation of FMT/DMD Unit
a. Connect the cable (50P) to the connector CB906 of the
FMT/DMD Unit. (Fig. 19)
b. Remove gummed cloth tape used to cover the DMD win-
dow of the main unit and blow air to the DMD window and
around it, using Mister Dust 450 134a or its equivalent.
(Fig. 17)
* When removing gummed cloth tape, use care so that no
part of the window comes off and no adhesive remains.
c. Remove the DMD Cover from the FMT/DMD Unit, blow
air to the surface of DMD and around it, using Mister Dust
450 134a or its equivalent and then install the FMT/DMD
Unit quickly. (Fig. 18, 19)
* When installing the FMT/DMD Unit, be sure to blow air to
the surface of DMD and around it, using Mister Dust 450
134a or its equivalent first.
* Never touch the surface of DMD and around it. Scratched
DMD will be unusable.
* Keep the removed DMD Cover in a safe place.
When removal of the FMT/DMD Unit is necessary again,
this cover is used. (To protect DMD and to prevent entry
of dust)
d. Put 3 screws marked [
FMT/DVD Unit. (Fig. 16)
e. With these 3 screws, DMD can be leveled. Using the
torque screwdriver, tighten 3 screws in turn gradually
until 6kg tightening torque is obtained. Also, note that
overtightening may cause the DMD package to break.
f. Install the cover FMT and fix it with 2 screws marked [
and 3 screws marked [
g. Secure the cable (50P) with the Cable Stopper. (Fig 15)
h. Connect cables to connectors CB905 (14P), CB907 (20P)
and CB908 (4P). (Fig. 15)
* After replacing the FMT/DMD Unit, be sure to check test
patterns (100% black, 100% white) and adjust the mirror
if there is anything problematic.

6-2 FMT/DMDユニットの取り付け
a. FMT/DMDユニットのコネクターCB906にケーブル （50P）
を取り付けます。 （Fig. 19）
b. 本体のDMD窓を覆ったガムテープをはがし、ミスターダ
スト450 134aまたは同等品を使ってDMD窓およびその周
辺をエアーブローしてください。 （Fig. 17）
＊ ガムテープをはがす際は、窓部分の部品を外さないよう慎
重に行い、粘着剤が残らないよう注意してください。
c. FMT/DMDユニットからDMDカバーを外し、ミスターダ
スト450 134aまたは同等品を使ってDMDの表面およびそ
の周辺をエアーブローしてから、素早くFMT/DMDユ
ニットを取り付けます。 （Fig. 18, 19）
＊ FMT/DMDユニットを取り付ける際、必ずDMDの表面およ
びその周辺をミスターダスト450 134aまたは同等品を使っ
てエアーブローしてから取り付けてください。
＊ DMDの表面およびその周辺は、絶対に触れないようにして
ください。DMDに傷が付いた場合、使用不能となります。
＊ 外したDMDカバーは、保管してください。
再度FMT/DMDユニットを取り外す必要となった場合、この
カバーを使用します。 （DMDの保護や埃防止のため）
d. FMT/DVDユニットの取り付け穴に
す。 （Fig. 16）
e. この3本のネジによってDMDの傾きが変化します。ま
た、締め付けすぎるとDMDのパッケージが壊れてしまう
場合があります。トルクドライバーを使用して、3本を
徐々に順番に締めていき、6kgの締付トルクまでバラン
ス良くネジ締めします。
f. カバーFMTを取り付け、
定します。 （Fig. 15）
g. ケーブルストッパーでケーブル （50P） を挟みます。

h. コネクターCB905(14P), CB907(20P), CB908(4P)にケーブ
ルを取り付けます。 （Fig. 15）
＊ FMT/DMDユニットの交換終了後、必ずテストパターン
（全黒・全白） にて確認して、 異常があればミラー調整を
行ってください。
