CONFIGURATION AND CALIBRATION

Transmitter Bind

Bind is the pairing between the transmitter and the drone, so that it can
show the camera image, and execute commands.
Turn on the transmitter while holding the photo button, and then quickly
turn on the drone. Both must be very close to eath other.

Transmitter Menu

On this menu we can check the firmware versions, and configure
several options. For example, to fly as a racer drone, acrobatic flight,
just turn off the "GPS" switch, and activate "manual mode" on the menu.
Warning, this flight mode is dangerous, experts only.

Transmitter Mode

The transmitter modes switch the sticks functions.
Mode 1 (asian) - (altitude, fly sideway) + (fly forward, rotation)
Mode 2 (right-handed) - (altitude, rotation) + (fly forward, fly sideway)
Mode 3 (left-handed) - (fly forward, fly sideway) + (altitude, rotation)

Transmitter Mode Definition and Stick Calibration

1 - Hold the sticks, to define the desired mode.
2 - Turn on the transmitter, the screen will show the message
"calibrate stick" of the selected mode, confirming that you did it right.
3 - Rotate each stick slowly, 2-3 times. The way you do it does not
matter, not even if you stop midway and continue. We are only defining
to the transmitter, what the sitcks limits are supposed to be.
4 - Hold any of the sticks trim buttons, to conclude the procedure.
If everything was done correctly, as you move the sticks, you will see on
the transmitter screen, that all bars move to the extreme of their scales.

Drone Compass Calibration

This is the most important calibration, it must be done on site, before
flight, everytime, to have the most accurate gauging.
Do not calibrate over metallic surfaces, and do not use magnets.
Wrong calibration may lead to a "fly away", and a lost drone. If you can't
conclude the procedure, all you have to do is upgrade the firmware.

Drone Horizontal Calibration

This calibration step is optional, but i direct you to do it, after you
upgrade the firmware, or else, if your drone is flying sideways alone
during flight, even after you have properly done the transmitter and
compass calibrations. Put the drone on a completely STRAIGHT
surface, start the calibration, and wait until it starts blinking, ready to fly.

Drone Rotation Calibration

This calibration step is optional, but i direct you to do it, after you
upgrade the firmware, or else, if your drone is rotating alone during
flight, even after you have properly done the transmitter and compass
calibrations. Put the drone on a completely STRAIGHT surface, start the
calibration. Without lifting the drone, rotate it until all 4 lights turn green,
wait, and redo the rotation procedure is needed, until it starts blinking
normaly, ready to fly.
