Cause
Fault with the "Keyless Entry and
Starting" system.
Fault with the electronic anti-theft
system.
The electronic key is not detected.
The electronic key has not been
removed from the housing in the
glove box.
The steering column is locked.
The engine is off but the gear lever
is not in position P .
Solution - Action
Contact a CITROËN dealer.
Switch off the ignition, then start the
engine.
Insert the electronic key into the
housing located in the glove box.
Remove the electronic key from the
housing in the glove box.
Switch the ignition on and turn the
steering wheel slightly to unlock the
steering column.
Place the gear lever in position P .
Monitoring
Observations
If the problem persists, contact a
CITROËN dealer.
Remember to remove the electronic
key from the housing after starting
the vehicle.
Only for vehicles fitted with a "CVT"
gearbox.
