ELECTRICAL
WARNING
All Electrical work must be performed by qualified electrician or person with similar technical know
how and background.
For personal safety, remove house fuse or open circuit breaker before beginning installation. Do not use
extension cord or adapter plug with this appliance.
Follow national electrical codes or prevailing local codes and ordinances.
Electrical Supply:
This appliance requires a 120V 60Hz electrical supply, and connected to an individual, properly grounded
branch circuit, protected by a 15 or 20 ampere circuit breaker or time delay fuse. Wiring must be 2 wire w/
ground. Please also refer Electrical Diagram labeled on product.
Grounding
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of
electric shock by providing an excape wire for the electrical current. This appliance is equipped with a cord
having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly
installed and grounded.
Position the electrical outlet within the space covered by or above the decorative canopy housing as space
permits and as to not interfere with the round duct. Make sure the outlet is no further than 28" from the top of
the hood body.
