5. Remove the Seal Top Retainer
the Volute Housing Inlet and Outlet with petroleum jelly. Hold the Filter Pump Canister
Pump Canister so that the outlet on the volute housing extends out of the opening in the side of the Filter Pump Canister. Insert the pump until the two ribs on the
inlet of the volute housing protrude through the bottom of the filter case. Reach down inside the filter case and place the Pump Retaining Nut
volute housing inlet. Twist the Nut clockwise until it is snug. (See Fig. 2)

6. Lubricate the O-rings on the Filter Pump Canister Inlet and on the
Suction Fitting with petroleum jelly then connect the Hose from the
Suction Fitting to the Filter Pump Canister Inlet.

8. Tighten all Hose Clamps to prevent water leakage.

7. Lubricate the O-ring on the Return Fitting and on the Connect the Hose

water until the water level reaches the fill line.
