Overview
The HO Linear line of gas fireplaces (3615, 4415, 6015) were recently changed to allow for mounting
hardware to be installed without templates & without removing the media tray. This change leads to
the following:
 The fireplace media tray has changed on new units to accommodate the new hardware.
 The old log hardware will not work with new units and vice-versa.
 The logs are exactly the same (new & old).
 This kit is intended to provide Driftwood logs for all HO linears, new or old. Eventually this kit
will be discontinued when all old-style fireplaces are sold & installed.
The directions below are broken into sections. You will need to determine whether you will use the
new style or old style hardware (see serial numbers under "Compatibility" below). Once you know
which style of hardware you are using, you will then need to follow the relevant directions. After the
hardware is installed you then install the logs. Log placement is the same for both old & new
hardware.
Compatibility
Use the tables below to determine which hardware should be used.
Old Style Hardware (uses templates)
3615 HO GSR2 (SN# 3213-003632 or before)
4415 HO GSR2 (SN# 3212-012114 or before)
6015 HO GSR2 (SN# 3214-007337 or before)

Do not allow the crushed glass to block the air slots or to become too thick (maximum 1 layer deep on the burner). Failure to properly install glass may lead to sooting and improper burning.
