Audible alarms

The HDXS-C200 server provides three types of audible
alarms to indicate fan, temperature and power problems
within the server. Troubleshoot in accordance with the
tables given below.
Single beep

Caution
Faulty Fans must be replaced as soon as possible to avoid
overheating of the server. Prolonged overheating of the
server will result in the server being automatically
shutdown.
Recommended Action
Check the voltage on Motherboard power connectors (24-pin, 8-pin, 4-
pin) using a multimeter (see "Power connectors" on page 29).
Trace the voltage from the Power Supply to the Fan.
Replace faulty fan (see "System cooling fan replacement" on page
86).
Replace faulty System Power Board (see "Chassis replacement
(containing motherboard and CPUs)" on page 92).
Recommended Action
Check the voltage on Motherboard power connectors (24-pin, 8-pin, 4-
pin) using a multimeter (see "Power connectors" on page 29).
Trace the voltage from the Power Supply to the Fan.Replace faulty fan
(see "System cooling fan replacement" on page 86).
Replace faulty System Power Board (see "Chassis replacement
(containing motherboard and CPUs)" on page 92).
