Connecting a satellite receiver

You can connect a satellite receiver to this recorder to enjoy watching or recording satellite programmes
through the recorder.

By using SCART cable

If both your TV and satellite receiver have a SCART input, use a SCART cable to connect the recorder.
Note
According to the type of the TV set that you are connecting, set the output for the AV1(AUDIO/VIDEO)IN/OUT socket.

For a satellite receiver
Where to connect:
Normally use the AV2(SAT/DECODER)IN/OUT socket as above. (Also the AV1(AUDIO/VIDEO)IN/OUT socket, the
RF IN (FROM ANT.) terminal, or the INPUT jacks on the front panel are also available.)
If you connect a satellite receiver to the AV2(SAT/DECODER)IN/OUT socket, make the following settings:
