LASER BEAM CAUTION LABEL When the power supply is being turned on, you may not remove this laser cautions label. If it removes, radiation of a laser may be received. PREPARATION OF SERVICING Pickup Head consists of a laser diode that is very susceptible to external static electricity. Although it operates properly after replacement, if it was subject to electrostatic discharge during replacement, its life might be shortened.

2. Operation : The First Time A hyper-terminal is started. (Start → All Programs → Accessories → Communications → Hyper Terminal) [Connection Description] dialogis displayed. Please input a connection name. (Name Ex.:85DT) And please choose an icon. Press OK . [Connect to] dialog is displayed.

Hyper Terminal is Displayed Please choose Transfer → Send File... [Send file] dialog is displayed. Please set a protocol as Xmodem. Transmission of FW file should go as follows. Press Send [Xmodem file Send for 85DT] dialog is displayed. The power supply of RD is turned on. Communication starts.
