STARTING OPERATION
Daylight saving time (DST)
In the summer, the clock automatically switches to daylight saving time and back to regular time in the
winter. The daylight saving time indicator (A14) lights up when daylight saving time is activated.
Please observe the following operating instructions:
1.
The device synchronizes automatically every day.
2.
Do not install the device near interfering sources such as TVs, computers or similar.
3.
Avoid placing the device next to or on metal surfaces.
4.
It is not recommended to use the device in locations such as airports, basements, factories and
rooms that incorporate reinforced concrete in their walls.
5.
Do not start radio reception while in a moving vehicle such as a car or train.

MANUAL SETTING

If you are out of range of the radio clock signal or if reception is not possible, you may also manually
set the time.
Radio signal
Search for the radio signal manually: Press and hold the UP button (B5) for several seconds. The
clock begins searching for the radio signal again and the radio signal icon (A15) begins flashing.
Calendar setting

In normal time display mode, press the MODE button (B7) for several seconds until the year
display starts flashing. Press the UP (B5) and DOWN/MEM (B6) buttons to set the year. Press the
MODE button (B7), to confirm the setting and to go to the next parameter.
The month display starts flashing. Press the UP (B5) or DOWN/MEM (B6) buttons to set the

month. Confirm your setting by pressing the MODE (B7) button.
