ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
Carefully unpack the fixture. Lay out all parts on a clean surface.
2.
Install a 100 watt medium base incandescent light Bulb (#3) [not provided] in the socket in
the fixture.
3.
After the fixture has been installed pursuant to the instructions on Pages 6-7 and the power
restored, the light bulb will illuminate immediately. After about 40 seconds, the light bulb
will flash 3 times and the fixture will be in Automatic function. In order for the fixture to
function properly, the light switch must remain on. While the fixture is in Automatic
function, you can adjust the three adjustable knobs.
4.
This fixture has three adjustable knobs: SENS, LIGHT, and TIMER.
5.
The SENS knob adjusts the maximum distance the PIR motion sensor can sense a
change/motion in its environment, and then illuminate the light bulb. Due to the nature of
infrared energy, the PIR sensor optimally senses motion when the outside temperature is
below 90F. Turn the SENS knob fully counter-clockwise, and the PIR sensor can detect
motion that occurs within eight feet from the fixture. Turn the SENS knob fully clockwise,
and the PIR sensor can detect motion that occurs within forty feet from the fixture.
6.
The LIGHT knob determines what time of day the light bulb illuminates. Turn the LIGHT
knob fully clockwise, and the sensor sensitivity is poorest and the light bulb illuminates
only at night.
7.
The TIMER knob adjusts the period of time the light bulb remains illuminated once the
PIR motion sensor senses motion. Turn the TIMER knob fully counter-clockwise, and the
light bulb will remain illuminated around 4 seconds.
clockwise, and the light bulb will remain illuminated around 12 minutes.
8.
This fixture is equipped with a Long-Light function. To leave the Automatic function and
enter the Long-Light function, turn the light switch off and on twice within 3 seconds. The
light bulb will flash 3 times, and remain illuminated for around 8 hours. After around 8
hours, the fixture will automatically leave the Long-Light function and return to the
Automatic function. If 8 hours have not elapsed but you want to return the fixture to the
Automatic function, turn the light switch off and on twice within 3 seconds.
