6.3.2.2 Fitting on a frame
•
Clean the undersurface of the gearunit.
•
Using suitable lifting gear, place the gear unit on the frame.
•
Tighten the foundation bolts to the specified torque (see item 6.17); if necessary, use stops to prevent
displacement.
The gear unit must not be excessively stressed when tensioning the fastening bolts.
•
Align the gear unit exactly with the input and output units (see item 6.3.2.1).
•
Record alignment dimensions.
The record must be kept with these instructions.
6.3.2.3 Fitting on a concrete foundation by means of stone bolts or foundation blocks
This type of fastening is only permitted when using a base plate!
•
Clean the undersurface of the gearunit base.
If using stone bolts:
─ Hook stone bolts with washers and hexagon nuts into the foundation fastening points on the base
plate (see figure 10).
The hexagon nuts must only be tightened when the concrete has set.

If using foundation blocks:
─ Hook the foundation blocks with washers and fastening bolts into the foundationfastening points
on the gearunit housing (see figure 11).
The fastening bolts must only be tightened when the concrete has set.
