  • Page 33 MODEL 2590 CONTROLS DRUM HOUSING AIR VENTS Knob Sliding Air Vent Vent Cover There are two air vents on each side of the drum housing of your machine. The air vents can be opened or closed to adjust your chip throwing to your particular application. The chip throwing distance has many variables for example: type of material chipping, size of material chipping, the machine engine size, if machine is equipped with autofeed or not, etc.

  • Page 35 MODEL 2590 CONTROLS CHIPPER HOOD ENGINE DISABLE SWITCH OPERATION This chipper hood engine disable switch is installed for safety purposes. It is designed to shut down the engine if the hood pin is not properly in place holding the chipper hood in the closed position. The system must be correctly maintained and operative at all times.

    Failure to properly break-in your engine may result in poor bearing and piston ring surfaces. NOTICE The Bandit has only been run for a short time to test proper hydraulic pressures, possible leaks, etc. The fuel tank will be empty. Fuel is provided through a small auxiliary tank for testing. This immensely helps maintain safety in our manufacturing facility and while shipping.
