Remedy of faults

Malfunction
No flow of water
Water flow insufficient

Possible cause
Filter pump not switched on

The control system checks the function of the
level detection device.
 This check is started automatically if too
few automatic cleaning procedures have
been carried out.
Cable not connected
Control system has switched off due to
overheating (temperature switch)
Safety fuse has tripped due to a blockage of
the rinsing pump (excessive current
consumption)
Remedy
Switch on the filter pump, connect the power plug
Clean the supply and/or return
Clean, replace if necessary
Check hose, and replace if necessary
Reduce line length to necessary minimum
Adjust the pump capacity accordingly
 For AquaMax Eco Premium 12000, 16000,
20000, switch off the SFC (Seasonal Flow
Control). SFC reduces the quantity of water by
up to 50 %.
 Remove algae and leaves from the pond.
 If the water is particularly contaminated,
change 30 % of the water to avoid damage to
the fish.
 Optimise the water flow so that the skimmer
and/or the filter pump can draw in the dirt
particles.
 Align the skimmer and/or filter pump in relation
to the water flow so that they can draw in dirt
particles.
Reduce number of pond animals
Clean or replace screen elements
Check the seating of the drum seal
Replace the drum seal
Remove a screen element and remove dirt
particles from the filter drum
Remove a screen element and clean the dirt
channel.
Clean the rinsing nozzle, replace if necessary
Clean/descale the screen elements
Reduce the pump capacity
Clean the pipe
Clean/descale the screen elements
Drain water from the pond.
Clean the pipe
 Wait. The check takes a maximum of 24 hours.
 The check is completed once the level
detection function is triggered. An automatic
cleaning procedure is carried out.
 If the level detection device is not triggered
within 24 hours, Er22 is displayed. The time-
dependent cleaning cycle is activated.

Check cable connection
Protect the control system from heat and allow it to
cool down
 The control system will switch back on
automatically when it has cooled down.
 Error message Er66 gives a warning before the
control system overheats.
Clean the rinsing pump (→ Cleaning the rinsing
pump) Replace fuse ( N)
 Only use 5 × 20 mm, 8 A slow-blow / 250 V
safety fuse.
