CUSHION PLACEMENT
WARNINGS:
- Risk of falling: The bottom of the Incontinence Liner is slippery; DO NOT
use the Incontinence Liner without a cover.
- The cushion must be used with compatible covering(s).
- Inspect the cover and the foam for damage, and replace if necessary.
- When possible, use the loop fasteners to further secure the cushion to
the seating surface.
1 Place the cushion on the seat.
2 Before sitting on the cushion,
check the orientation: Refer to the
directional patch and make sure that
the zipper is in the back. For Embrace
and M2 cushions, the carrying handle
should be in the front.
3 The user should sit on the cushion, in
their usual sitting position.
Make sure that the cushion is
properly sized to the individual.
IMPORTANT! If using an ATI (Adjustable Technology Insert for
Positioning) with the M2 Cushion or the Acta-Embrace Cushion, place the
ATI inside the cover and beneath the cushion (and beneath the
Incontinence Liner, if using). Refer to the ATI instructions for placement
and adjustment.
