4-5. PERFORMANCE CHECK (IMAGE SHAKING/JUMPING)
Equipment and Tools
• Flange back adjustment jig
• Siemens star chart
• Camera (General E-mount Interchangeable Lens Digital Camera (AVCHD recordable))
• 40 inch LCD monitor (Full HD)
4-5-1. Preparations
1. Set the Siemens star chart on the flange back adjustment jig.
Note: Set the Siemens star chart with the center to be 200 to 400 lux or 35 to 65 cd/m2.
For the Siemens star chart, use a light source free from flickering.
2. On TELE end, set the distance from the lens of flange back adjustment jig to the checking lens to be within 10 mm.
3. Manually focus to make the center of the Siemens star chart match with the center of the LCD.
4. Set the camera on the AVCHD movie mode.
5. Reset the checking lens. (Set the focus to be ∞)
Note: Do not touch the focus ring.
6. Set the equipments and the checking lens as shown below.

4-5-2. Capturing Image for Performance Check (Image Shaking/Jumping)
1. Capture a moving image by operating the zoom as shown below in the setting of "4-5-1. Preparations".
Zoom: 55 mm → ● → ● → 16 mm → ● → ● → 50 mm
Note: Stop at each position shown above.
4-5-3. Check
1. Play back the movie captured on a LCD monitor.
2. Check that there is no notable image blur, center shifting, image shaking or image jumping.
Note: Replace the 1 Group Block Assy when there is notable image blur, center shifting, image shaking or image jumping.
If it cannot be resolved even after replacing the 1 Group Block Assy, replace the Service Exclusive Optics Block.
