Remove any paper jammed in the upper cover (I-I1) of the document insertion

unit.
Remove any paper jammed in the guide (I-I2).

Close the guide (I-I2) and the upper cover (I-I1).

When closing the guide and upper cover, be careful not to get your fi ngers caught, as this may
result in personal injury.
1. Open the upper cover
(I-I1) of the document
insertion unit.
2. Remove any jammed
paper.
