2.3 Connecting the camera to a network
equipment supporting PoE/PoE+
There are two ways of connecting the camera
to the PoE/PoE+ network by using:
n PoE router.
For DeLaval network, it is recommended to
use Ubiquiti Edge Router ER-4.
n PoE switch
For DeLaval network, it is recommended to
use Ethernet office switch PoE 8 ports
(2150018378).
1. Connect the "Y" cable ("3") as a power
and Ethernet source for the camera.
Note! The antenna is not needed in this
configuration.
2. Plug in the "Y" cable ("3") to the PoE/PoE
+ router/switch ("4").
3. Open the Delaval FMC-IP Software.
4. Follow steps described in
"Adding a camera to the PC soft-
ware" on page 23.
ð The camera connects to the network
via PoE/PoE+ device.
FMC 1.1 is designed with POE stand-
ard IEEE 802.3bt, 48 V.
