NOTE
OpenGL Drivers
Every operating system and application program needs specific drivers.
Without these, the HP Integrated OpenGL Interface Board operates only in
standard VGA mode, and hardware 3D acceleration will not be available to the
user.
The Windows NT 4.0 WS operating system and the ELSA GLoria Synergy OpenGL drivers are preloaded.
Note that the ELSA Applet is preloaded but must be installed to configure the ELSA GLoria Synergy OpenGL
interface board.
Note that the Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 3 must be reinstalled after the
complete installation of the OpenGL drivers.
ELSA GLoria Synergy Applet Installation
To optimize the driver settings for an OpenGL application, install the ELSA
GLoria Synergy Applet:
1 Insert the HP Drivers CD-ROM.
2 Open the
\OpenGL\XWSeries.A2\APPLET\
3 Click on the
GLSET.INF
"Install".
4 When the installation process has completed, restart the computer.
5 Double-click on "My Computer", then on "Control Panel", then on the
"Display" icon.
6 "ELSA GLoria Settings" tab will appear in "Display Properties" window.
7 Click on the "Default" button to get the default settings of your Elsa GLoria
Synergy graphic card. Alternatively, choose the optimized setting for your
installed OpenGL application.
8 It is not necessary to reinstall the Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 3.
