5. Use a 9/16" (14mm) wrench to
loosen and remove the 9/16" shaft
bolt and washer (Fig. 3).
NOTICE:
If the shaft bolt rotates with
the motor shaft during loosening, place
another metal rod (e.g., a 3.5" long
screw bit) with diameter less than 1/4"
(6.35mm) into the smaller hole in the fan
to act as another stabilizer (Fig. 4)
6. Remove the EGO Mulching Lower
Blade and the upper blade from the
motor shaft in sequence (Fig. 5).
Remove the two "Blade Set" bolts
from the upper blade. SAVE THE
TWO BOLTS FOR LATER BLADE
REASSEMBLY.
7. Save the fan on the motor shaft.
Be sure that the fan blade is facing
towards the deck (Fig. 6).
