Close the feeder guide.

Take care to avoid pinching your fingers when closing the
feeder guide.

Open the feeder.

Wipe the feeder roller (white) and platen roller (black)
with a cloth moistened with plain water and
thoroughly wrung out. Next, wipe the metal dry with a
soft, dry cloth.
