UPSCOM is intelligent software providing real-time monitoring of Uninterruptible
Power Supplies (UPS) and Frequency Converters.
UPSCOM can connect up to 31 systems, with each monitored system able to
send a brief status to the monitoring computer.
UPSCOM selects one of monitored systems to send detailed
data to computer display.
UPSCOM runs under Windows 95, 98, 2000 or NT.
Installation:
1. Insert the UPSCOM disk into the CD driver.
2. Click on the SETUP icon to install the software. Follow the on screen
instructions..
Content:
1. The UPSCOM main screen shows a snap shot on the monitored system.
The data source on the main screen comes from the system with unique ID
selected by the 0 to 30 button row on the top of the screen. The software
automatically shows the default system data selected the last time the software
was used, or it will search for the connected system with the smallest ID number.
2. Click the system button: 3 selections will be displayed:
-- CommPort property
-- Hide
-- Exit
a. CommPort Property:
COM1 to COM16 can be selected in CommPort ID depending on which
port of the monitoring computer is connecting to the systems. Other items cannot
be changed, and are for the user's reference only. Click 'Apply' to change, 'OK'
to confirm.
