    I N I T I A L S E T U P Step 1: Attach Wheels Slide the axles into the T2 frame (see Fig. 5). Slide the wheels onto the axles (see Fig. 6). Insert the co er pins into the holes at the end of the axles (see Fig. 7).
  • Page 11 • With enough space to easily access the tumbler inlet and outlet. It is highly recommended to operate the T2 in as cold of an environment as possible. Opera ng the T2 in colder environments will improve the machine’s performance and signi cintly reduce buildup on the machine.
  • Page 12 Set up either the Trim Saver or the Leaf Collector vacuums for opera on (for instruc on, see the respec ve vacuum manual). A ach a hose to the vacuum outlet on the T2 and the vacuum inlet on the Trim Saver or the Leaf Collector (see Fig. 9. Trim Saver pictured).

    Step 1: Pre-Operation Checks DANGER The following checks should be completed before each DO NOT OPERATE THE T2 use of the T2. Before opera ng, ensure: UNLESS THE MACHINE IS FULLY ASSEMBLED AND ALL The following are installed: PRE-OPERATION CHECKS ARE Belt covers MADE.

  • Page 18 Adjust feeding speed to have the same volume of product exi ng and entering the machine simultaneously. • Adjust the T2 to operate with the tumbler full (see Tilt Guidelines on page 10). • If wet trimmiing, spray the brush every 5 minutes with cold dis lled water to reduce buildup on the tumbler (if dry trimming, there is no need to spray the brush).

    D I S A S S E M B L Y The T2 needs to be disassembled to conduct rou ne DANGER cleaning, maintenance, and any repairs. Conduct the following steps in order to disassemble the T2: THE T2 MUST BE UNPLUGGED Step 1: Remove the Tumbler Guard BEFORE DISASSEMBLY.

    I N S P E C T I O N S To ensure op mal performance, of the following DANGER inspec ons should be made on the T2 on a weekly basis. Ensure the T2 is unplugged before conduc ng TURN OFF ALL MOTORS, THEN any inspec ons.

    C L E A N I N G To ensure op mal performance, the following cleaning DANGER steps should be completed between each use of the T2. TURN OFF ALL MOTORS, THEN Disassemble the machine (for instruc ons, UNPLUG THE T2 BEFORE see Disassembly on page 17).

    Only grease the blade bearings— greasing. To grease the blade bearings: Ensure the T2 in unplugged. Remove both belt covers (see Step 2: Remove the Belt Covers in Disassembly on page 17 and Fig. 43). Pump grease into the grease nipples (see Fig.

  • Page 34 M A I N T E N A N C E Blade Adjustments On a properly adjusted T2, the blades should have light contact with each other in a self-sharpening ac on, and a fast cking sound should be present. Periodic adjustment of the blades will be required to ensure they are s ll in contact with each other.

  • Page 38 It is recommended to keep a spare blade belt for quick replacement. To replace the blade belt: Ensure the T2 is unplugged. Flip the T2 on its handles with the motor plate facing up to make replacement easier (see Fig. 50). Remove the belt cover screws (see Fig. 51).
