PROTECT PUMP
To protect the pump from damage caused by mineral deposits or freezing, use Pump
Saver, to treat pump. This prevents freeze damage and lubricates pistons and seals.
NOTE Pump Saver is available as an optional accessory. It is not included with the
pressure washer.
CAUTION You must protect your unit from freezing temperatures.
• Failure to do so will permanently damage your pump and render your unit inoperable.
• Freeze damage is not covered under warranty.
TO USE THE PUMP SAVER:
CAUTION Read and follow all cautions and warnings on the pump saver can label.
Always wear eye protection when using pump saver.
1. Remove the hose connector from the pump outlet.
2. Attach hose on pump saver can to pump inlet.
3. Push in can top to dispense pump saver.
4. When pump saver fluid begins to exit pump outlet, the pump is protected.
5. Remove pump saver from pump inlet.
OTHER STORAGE TIPS
1. DO NOT store fuel from one season to another unless it has been treated as described
in Protect Fuel System.
2. Replace fuel container if it starts to rust. Rust and/ or dirt in fuel can cause problems
if it's used with this pressure washer.
3. Cover unit with a suitable protective cover that does not retain moisture.
WARNING Storage covers could cause a fire resulting in death or serious
injury.
• DO NOT place a storage cover over a hot pressure washer.
• Let equipment cool for a sufficient time before placing the cover on the
equipment.
4. Store pressure washer in a clean and dry area.
