1. IMPORTANT REMARK The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons. The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance. - Page 4 8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. 9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong.

6. CONNECTING eMOTUS5OD accepts high or low impedance. In this regard, on the rear panel, there is a 5-position switch for selecting your work mode. The first 4 positions allow for the system to operate in high impedance, and the fifth, in low impedance. The 4 positions on the power selector for a 100V line will make it possible to set the maximum power with which each unit will operate. -

7. POSITIONING, FITTING AND START-UP In the packing of eMOTU5OD, you will find all that is needed to complete installation of the unit. The following should be observed as general rules: Always install on solid, firm surfaces. For good sound reproduction, there should be no hindrance between the units and the audience. - Page 8 4. Place the bracket in position, after first passing the line and the loudspeaker cable through the square hole on the bracket. Fix the bracket to the wall. Connect the loudspeaker cable to the connector on the rear part of the box, using the Euroblock connector supplied.
