When a device times out while upgrading
its firmware
The Firmware Upgrade function has a time limit. When
this limit expires, firmware upgrade may be canceled,
assuming that a failure occurred in the system. If the
network environment is unstable and runs at a low speed
or if SSL communication is enabled, a device may
cancel receiving the firmware due to the time limit.
The message Uploading svu file failure. Timeout
appears on the toolbox log.
Select Option from the Tools menu to display the
Option dialog then set a larger value for Timeout on the
General tab.
After setting the value between 60 and 600 (Minute),
retry upgrading the device.

Using CGI Sending

The CGI Sending function allows you to send CGI to a
device.
How to perform CGI Sending

From the Device list, select the camera to receive
CGI.

Right click the mouse. Click CGI Sending from
the displayed menu.
The CGI Sending screen is displayed.

Enter a command in the CGI command box.

Click Send.
The CGI command is sent to the selected camera(s)
in order of ID.

When sending is completed, click Save all
responses. Response content of all devices in the
list, to which a CGI command is sent, will be saved
in CSV format.
