Quicksilver® 605CR — System & Component Overview and Operation
If water does not come out of the discharge hose:
1. Remove the motor module to see if the impeller rotates with the power on.
2. Remove any debris that may have accumulated in the nozzle section or strainer base.
3. Check hose and connection on hull side for debris and proper connections.
Typical Bilge Pump System
If water ever enters the forward part of the bilge, there is an bilge inspection hatch located inside the
cabin, when removed, allows access to a drain plug. Simply remove the drain plug in the PVC pipe to
allow the water to drain aft. Once all of the water has drained, re-install the drain plug.
Forward Drain Plug
Do not operate vessel unless the forward drain plug is
properly installed and secured. If the plug is not installed
and secured in place, fuel vapors and / or Carbon Monoxide
can migrate forward into areas that do not have proper
ventilation. This could lead to serious injury or death.

4. Fire Prevention

Fire is a serious boating hazard. Boats will burn quickly. Do not remain onboard and fight a fire for
more than a few moments. If the fire is out of control and cannot be put out with the fire suppression
equipment onboard, abandon ship immediately.
The bilge pumping system is not designed for damage
Check the function of all bilge pumps at regular intervals.
