Powering off the projector

3)
1)
Press the power <v/b> button.
f The [POWER OFF] confirmation screen is displayed.
2)
Press qw to select [OK], and press the <ENTER> button.
(Or press the power <v/b> button again.)
f Projection of the image will stop, and the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> lights in orange. (The fans
keep running.)
3)
Wait until the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> on the projector lights or blinks in red.
f The projector enters standby mode when the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> lights or blinks in red.
4)
Disconnect the plug of the power cord from the outlet.
Note
f While the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> is lighting in orange, the luminous lamp is being cooled down and the projector cannot be
turned on. Wait until the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> starts lighting or blinking in red to turn on the projector again.
f When packing the projector for transportation and storage, please make sure that each indicator is off.
f Even if the power is turned off by pressing the power <v/b> button, the projector consumes power if the power plug is connected
to the outlet.
When the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [ECO MANAGEMENT] → [STANDBY MODE] is set to [ECO], use of some functions is
restricted, but the power consumption during standby can be conserved.

Direct Power Off function

When the plug is disconnected from the outlet or the power is turned off by the circuit breaker in the ceiling mount
case while the projection is going on, the projector can respond with direct power off function. Therefore, it is also
safe in case a power outage occurs or the power cord is pulled out immediately after the projector is switched off.
Attention
f Do not disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet or turn off the circuit breaker switch in a short time (about 1 minute) after the
luminous lamp is lit. Doing so may cause the luminous lamp to fail to light when you power on the projector next time, or result in premature
deterioration of the luminous lamp.
f If you turn the power off with the direct power off function with the projector installed upside-down, or if you turn the projector upside-down
after turning off the power using the direct power off function, do not put your hands or objects close to the air inlet (bottom) due to the back
flow of heated air from the air inlet(bottom). It may cause burns, injuries or deformation.
Note
f When using the Direct Power Off function, you cannot restart the projector immediately after disconnecting the power cord from the wall
outlet or turning off the breaker switch. The luminous lamp remains high temperature and needs to cool down, so it sometimes takes a
longer time than usual for the luminous lamp to light up again.
f If the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [INITIAL STARTUP] is set to [LAST MEMORY] and the projector was turned off by using the circuit
breaker directly while projecting during the last time of use, the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> will light in green a while after the
circuit breaker is turned on, and then projection of the image will start.
