ROCKER SHAFT INSPECTION
Inspect the rocker arm shaft for abnormal wear or damage.
If any defects are found, replace it with a new one.
Measure the diameter of rocker arm shaft with a micrometer.
Rocker arm shaft O.D.
Standard: 9.990 – 9.981 mm (0.3933 – 0.3929 in)
09900-20205: Micrometer (0 - 25 mm)
REASSEMBLY
• Install the cam shaft 1 .
• Install the rocker arms 2 and wave washer 3 .
• Install the rocker arm shafts 5 .
• Apply molybdenum oil solution onto the rocker arm shaft.
